Carbon Fiber Composite Material Hot Pressing Molding Process
Our factory employs an advanced carbon fiber hot press process with a P20 steel mold, ensuring high efficiency, precision, durability, and cost-effectiveness for quality production.
We manufacture custom carbon fiber skateboard decks for skateboard brands, sports equipment companies, distributors, and custom product developers.
We support OEM deck shapes, carbon fiber / fiberglass hybrid layups, 3K twill or plain weave surfaces, matte or gloss clear coat, reinforced truck mounting areas, and custom branding for sample and batch production.
For new deck shapes, we can develop molds from CAD files, samples, or detailed dimensions. For existing shapes, we can evaluate carbon fiber layup, flex, weight target, surface finish, and MOQ before quotation.
We work with skateboard brands, private label buyers, sports equipment distributors, and custom product developers at different stages — from initial concept and mold development through to sample confirmation and bulk production.
Whether you are launching a new deck line, replacing an existing supplier, or developing a high-performance deck for a specific application, we can support the project from technical review through to delivery.

| Type | Main Advantage | Limitation | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|
| 7-ply maple deck | Low cost, traditional feel, easy replacement | Easier to chip, crack, absorb moisture, and lose pop over time | Standard retail skateboard decks |
| Carbon fiber reinforced deck | Better stiffness control, improved fatigue resistance, premium appearance | Higher material and tooling cost | High-end skateboard brands and performance decks |
| Carbon + fiberglass hybrid deck | Better impact toughness and more flexible layup design | Requires careful laminate design | OEM decks requiring balance between strength, flex and cost |
| Full carbon fiber deck | Lightweight, premium visual, high stiffness | May feel too stiff if layup is not optimized | Specialty decks, display decks, electric skateboard shells, custom projects |
To achieve consistent strength, precise fiber placement, and long-term durability across every deck, we use controlled composite molding methods commonly used for performance composite parts.
One key method is the RTM (Resin Transfer Molding) process, which allows controlled resin flow, uniform fiber wet-out, and reduced void content compared to open lay-up methods. This can help achieve more predictable flex, improved laminate consistency, and more stable performance from deck to deck.
Depending on the project requirements, we also support compression molding, vacuum bagging, and prepreg/autoclave processes. The choice of process is determined by the deck geometry, target performance, surface finish requirements, and production volume.
The final strength, weight, flex and impact resistance depend on the deck shape, laminate schedule, reinforcement design, resin system and testing standard. For OEM projects, we can adjust the layup structure according to your target stiffness, weight, flex and durability requirements.
| Deck Size | Best For |
|---|---|
| 7.5″ | Technical street skating |
| 8.0″ | All-around skating |
| 8.5″ | Transition/ramp skating |
| 9.0″+ | Cruising, longboarding |
Custom sizes and shapes are available for OEM orders. Concave depth, nose and tail kick, and overall deck geometry can all be adjusted based on your design files or sample decks.
Minimum order for OEM production is usually 50 pcs per design. Sample orders can be discussed depending on the mold and process involved.

Yes. We manufacture OEM carbon fiber skateboard decks based on your CAD file, sample deck, or detailed dimensions. Custom shape, surface weave, logo, finish and reinforcement design can be discussed before quotation.
For OEM production, the usual MOQ is around 50 pcs per design. For new projects, sample production can be discussed first depending on the mold, process and testing requirements.
Yes, full carbon fiber decks can be made. For riding performance, a hybrid layup with fiberglass or other reinforcement materials often provides better balance between stiffness, impact resistance and flex. We can discuss both options depending on your use case.
Yes. Flex and stiffness can be adjusted by changing the laminate schedule, carbon fiber direction, core structure, thickness and reinforcement zones.
STEP/STP files are preferred. If you do not have 3D files, you can send a physical sample, 2D drawing, dimensions, photos, target weight, target stiffness and estimated order quantity.
Yes. We support custom surface finish, logo placement, clear coat, painted graphics, and decorative carbon fiber surface options depending on the production method.
Yes. We ship carbon fiber skateboard decks internationally, including to Europe, North America, Australia and other regions. Shipping method and cost depend on order quantity, package size and delivery urgency.
For existing molds or confirmed samples, production lead time is discussed based on quantity and process. For new mold projects, mold development and sample production require additional time. We also support projects described as carbon fibre skateboard decks, carbon fiber skateboards, or custom carbon fiber skate decks, depending on the customer’s market and terminology.
