Materials We Work With
Carbon Fiber Grades
We work with a range of fiber grades selected based on mechanical requirements and project budget:
- Standard modulus (T300, T700): High tensile strength; most common for structural and appearance parts
- Intermediate modulus (T800, T1000): Higher stiffness; used in demanding motorsport and performance applications
- High modulus (M40J, M55J): Maximum stiffness per unit weight; for precision instruments and specialized applications
- Large-tow (48K, 50K): Cost-efficient for industrial and non-critical structural applications
Weave Styles
- 3K plain weave — symmetric grid pattern; balanced in-plane properties
- 2×2 twill weave — diagonal pattern; better drapeability over complex curves
- Unidirectional (UD) — maximum strength along one axis; used in structural laminates
- Forged carbon — chopped fiber + compression molding; unique marbled appearance; suitable for complex 3D geometries
Resin Systems
- Standard and toughened epoxy: Best overall mechanical performance; most versatile; suitable for the majority of automotive, motorcycle, industrial and consumer applications
- High-performance resin systems: For special projects with elevated temperature, specific dielectric or impact resistance requirements, alternative resin systems can be reviewed based on application needs
Hybrid Layups
For specific impact resistance or cost targets, we also support hybrid layups combining carbon fiber with fiberglass, aramid (Kevlar) or basalt fiber.
Manufacturing Processes
We select the right process for each application based on part geometry, required performance, quantity and budget.
| Process | Best For | Key Benefit |
|---|---|---|
| Autoclave Prepreg Molding | Motorsport, structural and high-performance parts | Superior fiber consolidation; low void content; consistent laminate |
| Resin Transfer Molding (RTM) | Complex closed geometries, medium volumes | Good finish on both surfaces; consistent resin distribution |
| Hot-Press Compression Molding | Higher-volume parts, flat or low-complexity geometry | Efficient cycle times; repeatable dimensional control |
| Vacuum Infusion (VARTM) | Large panels, marine, industrial covers | Cost-effective for large surface areas |
| Filament Winding | Tubes, cylinders, pressure vessels | Precise fiber angle control; optimized hoop and axial strength |
| Wet Layup | Cost-sensitive parts, decorative shells | Accessible for larger or simpler geometries |
| CNC Trimming & Machining | Post-cure finishing across all processes | Clean edge and hole quality; assembly-ready accuracy |
Surface Finish Options
Common finish options include:
- Gloss clear coat (UV-protective)
- Matte clear coat
- Satin finish
- Raw carbon finish
- Painted finish (solid color or metallic)
- Forged carbon appearance
- 3K twill carbon fiber appearance
For exterior applications, UV-resistant clear coat is recommended for long-term scratch resistance and appearance retention.
Custom Carbon Fiber Project Development Process
- Project information review — drawings, files, samples or application brief
- 3D file, drawing or sample evaluation
- Material and process recommendation
- Tooling and mold cost estimation — aluminum tooling for low-to-medium volumes; steel tooling for high-volume production
- Prototype or first sample production
- Fitment and quality review
- Sample adjustment if required
- Batch production
- Trimming, finishing and inspection
- Packing and shipping
For automotive and motorcycle parts, fitment is the priority. For industrial and structural parts, bonding areas, load direction, inserts, wall thickness and tolerance requirements are confirmed before production starts.
Typical lead time: 5–10 business days for in-stock standard items. 2–4 weeks for prototypes. 3–6 weeks for custom production batches, depending on complexity and quantity.
Quality Control
Quality control scope depends on product type and application.
Appearance parts: surface finish, weave alignment, clear coat quality, trimming accuracy and fitment.
Functional and structural parts: thickness, laminate structure, reinforcement areas, insert bonding, hole position and assembly fit.
Standard inspection points include:
- Mold surface and part surface review
- Fiber appearance and weave direction
- Thickness and weight check
- Trimming and drilling accuracy
- Bonding area inspection
- Insert position check
- Clear coat and finish inspection
- Pre-shipment photos and packing review
For OEM/ODM projects, inspection standards and documentation requirements can be adjusted based on customer specifications. Full inspection reports and material traceability certificates are available upon request.
Intellectual Property and Confidentiality
We sign mutual NDAs before reviewing any proprietary drawings, specifications or design files. Customer IP protection is standard practice. Files shared for quotation purposes are not shared with third parties.

Why Choose Carbon Fiber?
Carbon fiber composites are selected when buyers need a strong combination of low weight, high stiffness, corrosion resistance and premium appearance.
Compared with metal, plastic or fiberglass, carbon fiber composites offer:
- Significant weight reduction compared with steel, aluminum or fiberglass in suitable applications
- High stiffness-to-weight performance depending on fiber grade, resin system, laminate design and curing process
- Good corrosion resistance in most operating environments
- Premium surface appearance with 3K weave or forged carbon finish
- Design flexibility and adjustable laminate structure
- Directional reinforcement to match load paths
- Good fatigue performance in properly designed laminates
Actual performance depends on fiber grade, resin system, layup direction, laminate thickness, curing method, bonding design and final application requirements.
